Hochburg × Beim Benz  —  2024

Time?
Keg tapping!

Time? Keg tapping! It's that time again, dear Wasen fans and esteemed folk festival haters. And right in the middle: Hochburg. Directly in the heart of the party zone in Bad Cannstatt.

Since 2022, we have been accompanying our client BENZ & CO. Gastronomie GmbH in the gradual transformation of the legendary "Grandl's Hofbräu Tent" into the "Beim Benz Hofbräu Tent." After a shared transition period, Marcel Benz takes on the great legacy of Hans-Peter Grandl and his tireless drive for progress and modernity – and leads it into a new era. The enthusiasm within the Benz & Co. team is almost tangible, which is also visually more than evident.

From one folk festival to the next, from spring festival to spring festival, the corporate design we developed for Benz & Co. is becoming more and more prominent – and that in the largest tent on the grounds. Cheers! Even at the last spring festival, huge fabric banners in the corporate colors and the new Benz & Co. logo stretched above the guests' heads. A goosebumps moment – and once again, the sight causes amazement. These are truly dimensions that impress!

For the first time, the future name of the tent is also visible inside.

New on the wooden wall: For the first time, the future name of the tent is also visible inside: BEIM BENZ. No one needs glasses for this – now everyone knows. However, those who look more closely will discover small corporate design elements on the staff's traditional outfits. These fine details demonstrate a deep understanding of the brand. A toast to the way the Benz & Co. team uses and implements our design tools!

The newly designed logo is a clearly visible signal.

The newly designed logo is, once again, a clearly visible signal for the next episode in the Grandl-Benz Arena. Hochburg interior buddy Cyrus Ghanai has let the design ideas flow from the tap and, based on our brand assets, has ushered in a minimalist era in Benz colors. Die-cut hearts and plastic flowers are a thing of the past. The necessary tradition is provided by the celebrating audience in traditional attire. The next step will come at the spring festival: the new Kessler bar.
