Pizza kills Virus. How do you launch a brand-new restaurant into the hype loop at high speed during Corona times? When everything is right. The restaurateurs. The culinary concept. The quality of the dishes. The location. The look. The design. The digital strategy. With Hochburg as a brand identity partner and an integral part of the opening process.

From Shutdown to Talk of Town.
From Shutdown to Talk of the Town. The perfect case of how to create a second opening hype within days after the first was abruptly broken by lockdown measures. When the digital framework is ready to go—seamless and straightforward. With elements and a visual aesthetic that captivate foodies and pizza lovers, making them part of the hype. Catchy and easy to share. Fresh out of the oven, the pizza goes straight to Insta.
Hochburg in Stuttgart-Mitte created the corporate design for the new restaurant Italo Disco in Stuttgart-West. Integrated into the project from scratch, we developed the brand identity and its social media rollout—a toolkit of logos, typography, hand-drawn illustrations, animations, and GIFs. Tailored specifically for Instagram, the restaurant's only marketing channel, a dynamic look & feel emerged, capturing the spirit of Italo Disco—a blend of traditional Italian trattoria charm and modern boutique Eataly flair.

Stuttgart's creatives become a clique.
Straight and sharp, just like the culinary concept (pizza and pasta), the distinctive brand identity was crafted from the start of the renovation in close coordination with the operator duo Daniele Linciano and Soner Azay, along with interior designer Cyrus Ghanai. The restaurant's color scheme and materials seamlessly align with the digital assets.
Various creative young Stuttgart minds became a clique and ultimately a symbiotic process, captured photo-documentary style in the unique Hochburg look. From the construction site to the first crispy pizza. In the end, it all came together as the famous "round thing"—a cohesive overall picture, a clear brand, easy to understand, and digitally accessible for guests at any time. All of this had to work quickly at the push of a button, adapting to situations. Digital, deliberately edgy, swiftly live, yet perfectly polished. Case closed, mission completed. We came for the brand identity and stayed for the pizza.
