Malo – the new Urban City Retreat in the heart of Stuttgart. Amid the chaos of the city, guests are offered an oasis to relax, unwind, and feel at home. The unique interior concept thrives on the vibrant colors of plants and the interplay of various materials. The branding needed to complement, not compete with, the interior design, seamlessly blending into the existing concept. The goal was to achieve a powerful impact with a thoughtful use of a few elements, bringing a sense of calm to the space.

A harmonious blend of natural colors and contemporary typography, topped off with a delicate brand mark—clean, sophisticated, yet approachable. Warm earth tones complement the dominant shades of green, seamlessly fitting into the urban jungle world. The sleek, straight-lined logo contrasts with the vibrant contours of the plant life, while the brand mark echoes the theme with a stylized leaf representation. A unique interplay of laid-back spirit and jungle vibes.

Harmony and Ease
as defining attributes.

The Instagram feed focuses on a gentle blend of natural tones, conveying a sense of Mediterranean ease. The visual language reflects the brand’s relaxed spirit, seamlessly combining graphic posts with understated photography. Within the story format, the deliberate use of delicate typography and ample white space creates an avant-garde and elegant look.
